Session Experience

Prescription numbing cream is applied under wrap for 60–90 minutes before treatment. Cold-air cooling is used during the session. Most patients rate discomfort as mild to moderate. Expect mild redness, swelling, and possible tiny blisters that heal within days.

Each session lasts 15–45 minutes depending on tattoo size. You can return to normal activities immediately — just keep the area clean, dry, and out of the sun.

Realistic Outcomes

Most tattoos fade 70–90% in 3–6 sessions for black ink, but layered or dense ink may take 8 or more. Colored inks require specialized wavelengths and additional sessions.

Complete 100% erasure is not always guaranteed. Some inks — titanium dioxide, iron oxides, fluorescent/neon pigments — can darken or resist removal. Blending, texture, and tone matching ensure the area looks natural even when trace pigment remains.
